NOTE: This connector is a 2.5mm connector with PTT ring (not 3.5mm).

It uses an armature device that acts like a piston going up and down to create the sound - it is this sound that is the closest to True Voice. It eliminates most of the bass, which is only needed when listening to music. This optimizes the high frequencies for voice clarity.

Most earpiece speakers use a moving diaphragm that vibrates, the subsequent vibration produces a dull, bass sound.
